New Audi RS 3s arrive in Melbourne ahead of Phillip Island

The newest TCR cars to Australia have arrived in Melbourne and are being race-prepared for battle at Phillip Island this weekend.

The two brand-new Audi RS 3 LMS TCR machines were picked up by Melbourne Performance Centre from Melbourne Airport this afternoon, with the team now working on getting them ready for Round 2 of the carsales TCR Australia Series.

Former Supercars champion and three times Bathurst 1000 winner Garth Tander has been confirmed as one of the drivers for Phillip Island, while the driver of the second car is expected to be announced tomorrow (Wednesday).

MPC is also yet to confirm who will drive their original RS 3 that was, in fact, the very first TCR car to come to Australia.

While the cars look fighting fit in their factory Audi silver colour schemes, it is expected that one or both cars will undergo a livery face lift ahead of Phillip Island.
