Cameron welcomes new sponsor for the Island
Volkswagen Golf GTI racer Aaron Cameron has welcomed Galvaniize Insurance as a major backer for Round 2 of the carsales TCR Australia Series at Phillip Island this weekend.
Galvaniize Insurance is one of Australia’s fastest growing insurance broking firms, providing industry-leading brokering and risk management services for a wide range of clients, including protection for high performance vehicles and a wide range of tailored business solutions.
The 19-year old was the final driver confirmed for the opening round at Sydney Motorsport Park, impressing with a fourth place finish in Race 3 and fifth overall for the weekend in the Melbourne Performance Centre-prepared Golf.
The Melburnian is confident of building on his strong start in Sydney as he heads to a home track for himself and his team this weekend.
An 18-car field will contest Round 2 of the 2019 carsales TCR Australia Series, starting with practice at the picturesque Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.
Two practice sessions will be today, followed by qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday and two races on Sunday.
The carsales TCR Australia Series is the headlining act on the Shannons Nationals bill this weekend, supported by a strong list of categories including Australian GT, Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge and Australian Formula 4.
