HMO Customer Racing awarded inaugural Wolfchester team prize

HMO Customer Racing has been awarded the inaugural Wolfchester ‘Winning Team’ prize after an action-packed round at Phillip Island.

Courtesy of Will Brown’s consistent weekend, including victory in Race 3, the Sydney-based Hyundai team has won $1000 worth of gear from Wolfchester, providers of high quality automotive and industry supplies, products and services.

Brown started the weekend off the road at Turn 2 in Race 1, but fought back to score two second place finishes and a win, giving him a handy points lead after two rounds.

To top off a winning weekend for the Hyundai team, Brown’s team-mate Nathan Morcom stormed back from a Race 1 DNF to eventually finish second in the final race – TCR Australia’s first team one-two result.

After a shakey start to the weekend, HMO team manager Scott Fultcher was delighted with the results.

“It was good in the end. It started off interesting, but all in all, it ended very well,” said Fultcher.

“With Nathan DNFing Race 1 and Will running himself off, it looked like it was going to be a tough weekend.

“Will had a ripper race to finish second which was pretty impressive. Nathan did equally as good job in Race 2, raced forward and to have both cars finish second and fourth was a great outcome, and then to finish one-two was a great way to cap it off. They avoided the mess and gave themselves a heap of series points.”

Wolfchester will award the top finishing car’s team a big gift pack at the end of each TCR Australia round.
