Brown keen on exploring international TCR opportunities

TCR Australia Series leader Will Brown says that he would relish the opportunity to go overseas and drive in a TCR series off Australian shores.

The Hyundai driver has dominated the series after three rounds, finishing on the podium in every race bar one and leads by 125 points.

With over 30 TCR championships and series operating around the world, opportunities to jump into identical cars overseas are one of the big lures of the under 2 litre touring car class.

Speaking to podcast On The Grid, Brown says that he would like to have the chance to go overseas and try his luck against other TCR markets.

“I’d love to go overseas to do some TCR in the WTCR or the European championship,” said Brown.

“I’d love to go over there and have a crack. I think I’m driving the cars well and I think I have a good idea of it.

“It would be good to go over there for one round and see what it’s about.”
