Entry List, Round 4, Queensland Raceway
Queensland Raceway will get its first taste of a new breed of touring cars during the Shannons Nationals event this weekend, with 18 cars entering for Round 4.
TCR Australia will make its debut at the 3.1km venue, bringing its exciting brand of touring car warfare to The Paperclip.
The entry list features a number of changes compared to the last event at The Bend Motorsport Park, with the addition of international TCR star Jean Karl Vernay driving the #4 Audi, last campaigned to victory by Garth Tander.
Other changes include the ‘resting’ of one of the Subaru WRXs, with Andre Heimgartner jumping into a Holden Astra while Chelsea Angelo gets a round on the sidelines.
Also switching seats is Jordan Cox, who has jumped into the #7 Alfa Romeo that was raced by Jimmy Vernon in the opening three rounds.
Two practice sessions will be held on Friday. Saturday will see qualifying and Race 1, while Sunday’s program features two 30 minute races.
