HMO Hyundais to be turned into diecast models
HMO Customer Racing is seeking interested model car buyers for a unique chance to own a piece of TCR Australia history.
The champion Sydney-based Hyundai team says that an overwhelming amount of requests for a diecast model car has led them to create a Kickstarter campaign, seeking enough pre-orders to get the cars into production.
The cars depict the two Hyundai i30 N TCR cars that competed in the inaugural carsales TCR Australia Series, with Will Brown taking the title and Nathan Morcom finishing fourth overall.
Interested parties have until March 12th to place their order, while the team is promising that 100 pairs will be signed by Brown and Morcom, complete with a certificate of authenticity.
To ensure the team’s model dream turns into a reality, over 300 of the units will need to be secured.
