ARG ESPORT CUP CHAMPION AIMING AT TCR AUSTRALIA SEAT

New Zealader Jaden Ransley has his eyes firmly on a future inside real race cars after taking victory in the inaugural carsales ARG eSport Cup.

Ransley was a model of consistency in the series, failing to take a win but claiming the online racing crown after a final round struggle by series pace setter Harley Haber.

Ransley told the Parked Up podcast that while he has enjoyed the eSport Cup, his main focus is to break into the TCR Australia Series.

“We are still trying to stitch things together for 2020 but definitely our ideal next step is TCR Australia,” he said.

“We are in talks with a few teams so hopefully we will be able to be on the grid for the first round of the series at Sydney Motorsport Park.”
