Ransley joins HMO Customer Racing for TCR Australia SimRacing Series

New Zealander Jaden Ransley has signed to race for HMO Customer Racing in the upcoming carsales TCR Australia SimRacing Series.

Ransley will join TCR champion Will Brown in a two-car Hyundai effort, racing against a selection of the best TCR Australia and New Zealand drivers in the all-new series, to be run on the popular Assetto Corsa platform.

Unlike iRacing that was used for the successful ARG eSport Cup (and only had the Audi RS 3 TCR car), Assetto Corsa will see eight of the car brands represented, including the Hyundai i30 N that Ransley and Brown will race.

Ransley won the ARG eSport Cup after a tight fight to the flag. He says he is looking forward to representing the reigning TCR Australia champions.

“I’m extremely excited to be joining HMO Customer Racing for the new TCR SimRacing Series,” said Ransley.

“After our success in the ARG eSport Cup, it’s awesome to be able to partner with one of the top teams in the TCR Australia Series.

“I look forward to working with Will and the team and hopefully bringing the team some good results.”

The entire TCR Australia SimRacing Series field will be confirmed shortly.

The first round of the carsales TCR Australia SimRacing Series will kick off at the famous Albert Park Grand Prix street circuit this Thursday night at 8pm AEST.
