Drivers ready for TCR Australia SimRacing Series at Bathurst tonight

The carsales TCR Australia SimRacing drivers head to Bathurst tonight for Round 2 of the series tonight at Mount Panorama.

The field will 13 car field will feature a new addition to the grid – Alfa Romeo young gun Jay Hanson joining the field after missing the first event due to prior commitments.

Geelong-based driver Zac Souter is a late withdrawal after his family-run Honda team has decided to flee Victoria before the border at New South Wales is closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak in greater Melbourne. The reason he has left the state is that he is committed to a test day for his Civic Type R at Sydney Motorsport Park this Thursday.

After the first round at Albert Park, Renault driver Dylan O’Keeffe leads the series.

The racing kicks off at 8pm AEST tonight, with qualifying and two races broadcast live and free.

Cameron van den Dungen and Lachlan Mansell will head the commentary team for the event.
