LEE HOLDSWORTH & ASM SET TO SHINE WITH NEW PARTNER
Leading driver Lee Holdsworth and Ashley Seward Motorsport (ASM) have welcomed a new primary partner for the remainder of the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series.
Premium car care brand Autoglym will feature prominently along the doors of Holdsworth’s Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce for the series’ third round at Mount Panorama, Bathurst, this weekend.
Founded in the United Kingdom in 1965, Autoglym is one of the world’s leading car care brands and a pioneer in automotive treatments.
Autoglym is distributed in Australia by GnG Sales, who will utilise its new partnership with Holdsworth and ASM to promote various automotive treatments. For the Bathurst round, Holdsworth’s TCR car will carry the branding of Autoglym’s Ultra High Definition Ceramic Coating.
Holdsworth, one of Australia’s most respected racing drivers and a veteran of 15 seasons in the Supercars Championship, is currently third in the TCR Australia standings after two rounds.
Holdsworth achieved pole position and a race win on his debut in the two-litre touring car series at Tasmania’s Symmons Plains in January, and heads to Mount Panorama as a previous podium finisher in the Bathurst 1000 (2009). He was also the fastest qualifier leading into last October’s 1000km classic.
Ashley Seward Motorsport has been one of the front-running teams in TCR Australia since the category’s inaugural season in 2019, when ASM won multiple races and the Astrontech Pole Position Award with driver Dylan O’Keeffe.
Round 3 of the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series from Mount Panorama, Bathurst will be televised live and free across Australia on 7mate and the 7plus live streaming platform.
The televised action starts on Easter Saturday with Race 1 (10:40am AEDT) and Race 2 (12:25pm AEDT), ahead of the third and final TCR on Sunday morning (10:10am AEST) which will be the curtain raiser for the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour endurance race.
