Wurth Australia partners with a Bathurst endurance classic

Wurth Australia, a supplier of workshop consumables for the Australian marketplace, will partner with this year’s Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour event.

With nearly 40 years’ experience in Australia, Wurth Australia partners with over 52,500 customers and offers more than 15,000 high quality products and services. Over 600 staff nationally and three distribution centres within Australia, their product range extends from traditional and innovative fasteners, to Wurth made and manufactured hand tools, power tools, maintenance and manufacturing equipment, personal protection equipment, technical chemicals and anchors.

Wurth Australia is currently represented as a major team sponsor in TCR Australia, supporting young up-and-coming driver Michael Clemente in his Honda Civic Type R.

The Wurth brand will be prominently represented across the iconic, 6.213km Mount Panorama circuit this weekend, with track signage positioned at The Cutting, The Esses and along Pit Straight.

The Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour is Australia’s premier race for road specification production cars. Headlined by reigning Bathurst 1000 winner and current Supercars Championship leader, Shane Van Gisbergen, the event will feature a massive entry of 62 cars, 15 different brands and more than 150 drivers.

The 6 Hour endurance race is held on Easter Sunday and continues the rich heritage of production-based racing on ‘the Mountain’. The ongoing tradition of Easter racing began with the first event ever held at Bathurst – the 1938 Australian Grand Prix.

Featuring alongside the 6 Hour Race will be the third round of the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series. A 22-car field of Australia’s established and emerging racing talents will hit the track for the global touring car formula’s debut appearance at Mount Panorama.

The Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour and featured categories will be televised live and free across Australia on 7mate over Saturday, April 3 (10am-1pm AEDT) and Sunday, April 4 (10am-5:30pm AEDT). Extended live and free coverage will also be available on the 7plus streaming and on-demand platform.
