Ashley Seward Motorsport’s #10 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce, driven by Lee Holdsworth, will sport a revised livery for this weekend’s fourth round of the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series at Sydney Motorsport Park.
Holdsworth will carry primary backing from RUPES, the world’s leading manufacturer of equipment for surface preparation, refinishing and correction.
Founded in Milan, Italy in 1947, RUPES designs and manufactures electric and pneumatic sanders, polishers, including the world-famous BigFoot polishing system, pads and compounds, as well as mobile and centralised dust extraction systems.
In Australia, RUPES is distributed by GnG Sales along with the Autoglym brand of premium car care which adorned Holdsworth’s Alfa Romeo in the previous round at Bathurst.
Holdsworth is placed fifth in the series’ standings after the last round at Bathurst, and heads to Sydney Motorsport Park with recent form on the 3.93km circuit at Eastern Creek.
In last year’s Supercars Championship, Holdsworth recorded season-best results on the western Sydney circuit with two second place finishes in two events.
Sydney Motorsport Park was also the venue for the first ever TCR Australia event in 2019, when it proved a happy hunting ground for Ashley Seward Motorsport.
Previous ASM driver Dylan O’Keeffe challenged and led inaugural series champion Will Brown throughout that maiden event two years ago, ultimately finishing second in two of the weekend’s three races.
Holdsworth and the RUPES-branded Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce will be on track in Sydney from this Friday, with all three TCR Australia races televised live and free on 7mate between 10am-2pm AEST across Saturday and Sunday
