Format set for TCR Bathurst 400

The schedule has been confirmed for the season ending Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series, which will form part of the six-day motorsport festival at Bathurst on November 30-December 5.

Contesting the TCR Bathurst 400, the turbocharged, two-litre hot hatches will contest the longest races in its history at Mount Panorama. The Supercheap Auto TCR Australia will feature on five of the six days beginning with two practice sessions on the Tuesday, the first starting at 10:55am.

A second follows at 2:45pm ahead of Wednesday’s two 10-minute qualifying sessions at 3:30pm.

The first 21-lap encounter takes place at 1:35pm Thursday, followed by another on Friday at 12:30pm as action concludes on Saturday, with the final race of the season at 2;00pm.

Melbourne Performance Centre’s Chaz Mostert leads the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia standings by 105-points ahead of teammate Luke King heading to Bathurst.

HMO Customer Racing duo Josh Buchan and Nathan Morcom are also a chance of taking the title at Bathurst.

This will be the second time the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series will race at Bathurst after Mostert clean-swept the round held as part of the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour event across the Easter long weekend.
