Tickets on sale now for Race Tasmania 2022

Tickets for the Race Tasmania 2022 are available now as three of Australian motorsport’s leading categories prepare to open the national motorsport season at Symmons Plains Raceway on February 11-13.

The second running of the popular race meeting will mark the first major national motorsport event for the new year.

Received with applause by the motorsport fans of the Apple Isle, Race Tasmania will continue in 2022 at a later date of February 11-13, with action-packed racing promised by the returning Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series, S5000 Australian Drivers’ Championship and the growing Turtle Wax Trans Am National Series.

These three categories will be supported by exciting local categories including the Hyundai Excels, Tassie Tin Tops and HQ Holdens.

The Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series is the domain where the likes of James Moffat, Michael Caruso, Tony D’Alberto and reigning champ Chaz Mostert take on the rising stars of the sport including Aaron Cameron, Ben Bargwanna, Josh Buchan and more.

Putting on a thrilling display around Symmons Plains last year, the S5000s will be a category to watch in 2022 as the battle between local guns and internationals intensifies in the all-Aussie open wheel class.

Tasmanian representation is high in Turtle Wax Trans Am Series as Owen Kelly, Tim Shaw and young gun Lochie Dalton all aim to topple reigning series winner Nathan Herne in the battle of American muscle.

The always entertaining state-based Hyundai Excels, Tassie Tin Tops and HQ Holdens make this event a must-attend for all Apple Isle motorsport fans.

Race Tasmania will be an event not to miss to ensure a perfect start to the 2022 motorsport season.
