Respected Tasmanian business secures title rights to Race Tasmania

AWC Pty Ltd, one of Tasmania’s largest civil contracting firms, has today been announced as title partner of Race Tasmania.

To be held across February 11-13 at Launceston’s Symmons Plains Raceway, this year’s second running of the event will be known as AWC Race Tasmania.

Established in 1991, AWC is one of Tasmania’s leading civil contractors, servicing government and private clients across civil, industrial, building, and rural industries.

An independently owned and family-oriented business, AWC employs more than 100 people throughout Tasmania.

AWC also has a long history of supporting Tasmanians in motorsport and currently sponsors Launceston-born driver Lochie Dalton, a previous national karting champion who this year progresses to the Trans Am category.

AWC Race Tasmania will once again commence the national circuit racing season with opening rounds of the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series, S5000 Australian Drivers’ Championship and the Turtle Wax Trans Am Series.
