Young gun Clemente is excited to announce another new supporter to his team following Carl Cox Motorsport’s sponsorship prior to his return at Phillip Island on March 18-20.

“We’ve been using Motul products in our Honda Civic Type R TCR since we first purchased it in late 2019 and were impressed with the quality of their product range,” Clemente said.

“Motul is a well-established brand in off-road and two-wheeled power sports in Australia, so when we heard of its plans for further involvement in circuit racing, we jumped at the chance to tackle the TCR series together.

“It’s awesome to be able to partner with such a great company, which we look forward to working together this year and beyond.”

Serving markets globally for more than 160 years, Motul has established its presence as a specialist in synthetic oils.

The French lubricant manufacturer is renowned for its technological development, since becoming a partner of many manufacturers and factory teams in global motorsports. Drawing on this long and successful history, Motul’s involvement in Supercheap Auto TCR Australia is part of a larger plan to continue to grow its brand in Australia as the premium provider of high-quality lubricants.

Motul remains committed to providing its consumers with the highest quality of products, which are constantly improved and refined with learnings on track, through partnerships such as this.

“Motul has been involved in many forms of motorsport worldwide dating back to the 1950’s,” said Dean Rothapfel, Business Development Manager at Motul.

“As we expand our presence in Australia, involvement into the TCR series with a team like Michael Clemente Motorsport that share the Motul’s values of ingenuity, authenticity and passion makes perfect sense.”

Clemente will reveal a new livery prior to his return to the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series.

Motul will commence its partnership with Michael Clemente at Round 2 of Supercheap Auto TCR Australia forming part of the opening Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships event of the season at Phillip Island on March 18-20.
