Luke King aims to go ‘Zip Speed’ with new livery
After announcing his return to the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series, Luke King has revealed a stunning livery featuring a new sponsor in addition to many returning partners.
King finished fourth in last year’s title in a Melbourne Performance Centre-prepared Audi RS3 LMS TCR, but has switched to the privateer DashSport team for the remaining five rounds driving its Hyundai i30 N TCR.

Following on from missing the opening two rounds, King returns to the action at Bathurst for Round 3 where he welcomes a new major partner in Zip Pay, which join continuing sponsors Chinese liquor company Moutai, Fast Track Communications and Pertamina Lubricants.
Zip Pay is an app-based is an interest-free payment solution accepted in 26,000 stores Australia-wide (including category sponsor Supercheap Auto), but this is the company’s first foray into motorsport through its association with King.
King’s DashSport Hyundai with its new livery will make its maiden on-track appearance during opening practice for Round 3 of the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series at Bathurst commencing at 8:50am AEST.
QUOTES
Luke King,
Zip Pay Moutai Racing Hyundai i30 N TCR
Moutai is back onboard. They loved what we did last year, so we’re going to build on all of that and they are expecting some big results as are we.
We are bringing Zip Pay onboard as well, which is a really big one for us and I think everyone is going to love the livery that Tim Pattinson has designed for us. It’s going to be a popular livery on the grid with the blue, red and purple. It’s a really cool looking Hyundai.
Fast Track Communications return for a sixth season of partnership with us. They’ve been such a strong supporter of ours.
Finally, Pertamina Lubricants also continues its support since beginning its sponsorship when I was vice champion in the Toyota 86 Race Series.
It’s a great combination of all the sponsors we’ve had during the last five or six years and it’s great to have them all on the car at the same time.
Colin Banes,
Director, Commercial Zip Pay
“Zip is very excited about our alliance with Supercheap Auto to sponsor TCR legend, Luke King this racing season,” Banes said.
“We are incredibly proud to raise awareness of our partnership with Supercheap Auto and bring some excitement to our TCR loving customers. We want Zip to be the first payment choice everywhere and every day and its moments like these that will help get us there in Zip speed.”
William Dong,
Managing Director, DMG Fine Wine
Moutai is delighted to be returning to the TCR Australia championship with Luke King. Moutai represents culture, celebration and rich quality – all of which Luke King represents and we are proud to be supporting his 2022 season.
