What if IndyCar points were awarded in Supercheap Auto TCR Australia

This is a hypothetical, but what if the point allocation in Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series was replaced with that of Stan Sports’ sister category IndyCar.

Now, the IndyCar scoring system provides a similar result to what is current in Supercheap Auto TCR Australia although Swyftx GRM Peugeot’s Jordan Cox leads the amended standings by one-point from Wall Racing Honda’s Tony D’Alberto.

Another key difference is Schaeffler GRM Peugeot driver Dylan O’Keeffe’s placing drops from second to fifth, while Jay Hanson moves to fourth in the AWC MPC Racing RS3 LMS TCR.

Catch both categories on Stan Sport alongside Formula E, WEC and WRC through a seven-day trial http://www.stan.com.au/motorsport.

Factored into the calculations is IndyCar’s points for pole position (one-point), leading a lap during a race (one-point) and most laps led at the end of an event (two-points).
