Onboard laps with TCR’s exciting new addition

Following its recent acceptance onto the certified list of TCR models, testing of the Toyota Corolla GRS TCR has accelerated and here is the first onboard clip from inside this exciting new model.

Factory Toyota Gazoo Racing Argentina driver Matias Rossi tested the Corolla GRS TCR at Alta Gracia in Argentina ahead of its scheduled debut at Termas de Rio Hondo on August 27-28.

The concept was first announced three years ago and was officially unveiled last December where it completed testing prior to undertaking the homologation process.

Promoters of TCR worldwide, WSC Ltd last week announced the Toyota Corolla GRS TCR has been added to the certified list of models eligible to contest the global touring car series.

Rossi was in attendance to launch the Corolla GRS TCR back in December and was at the wheel for this successful test at Alta Gracia where the first Toyota onboard footage was released through Campeonesnet last weekend.

Local interest is high surrounding a Toyota entry into Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series joining Honda, Alfa Romeo, Audi, Peugeot, Hyundai and Renault in being represented grid.

The fight for the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series title resumes together with the SpeedSeries at Queensland Raceway on August 5-7.
