Michael Clemente welcomes new support at Queensland Raceway

Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series privateer Michael Clemente welcomes new support from Victorian-based Raceline Motorsport Racewear this weekend at Queensland Raceway.

A long-time supporter of Clemente, Raceline Motorsport Racewear was founded in 2011 before a change ownership in 2020 when the business relocated to the Mornington Peninsula. Supplying equipment to a variety of disciplines including karting, circuit racing, speedway and e-racing, Raceline Motorsport Racewear is also the Victorian distributor of brand OMP.

Director Caroline Milburn was delighted to support Clemente at Queensland Raceway.

“I have followed Michael and been involved with him from his Excel days, even before purchasing Raceline, so we knew both him as a person and his talent behind the wheel,” said Milburn.

“Over the years, as I have seen him grow, I continue to be impressed by his professionalism and passion for motorsport. It has been an honour to see him progress and while we have always had an involvement with him, I’m very excited to be able to support him where I can, and this naming rights opportunity is the next big step in his career.

“Seeing the Raceline brand loud and proud on the car gives me as much of a buzz as watching the racing and we cannot wait to see him and the car this weekend.

“The Supercheap Auto TCR Australia series continues to grow, and is a very exciting category with a diverse range of manufacturers, and I try to attend as many rounds as possible.”

Clemente was delighted to have the support of Raceline Motorsport Racewear for the fifth round of Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series at Queensland Raceway.

“Having the support of Raceline was unexpected but I’m incredibly pleased they have shown its faith in me by jumping on board to take the prominent position and naming rights for this weekend’s race in Queensland,” Clemente added.

“I’ve known the team there for a number of years and it’s always been my go-to place for racing equipment, so they ‘ve become part of the racing family now. But having seen the car, and how good it looks, has taken it to the next level and I’m pumped to be racing for them.”
