But what will you see this weekend?

Just like when TCR Australia last competed at Sandown in 2019, the venue again hosts the penultimate round of the title fight as it provides a warm up to the season-ending round at Bathurst.

Honda Wall Racing’s Tony D’Alberto holds a 58-point lead in the standings, but as has occurred in 2022 already anything can happen and generally does. A close pack of drivers led by Swyftx GRM Peugeot’s Jordan Cox, young gun Jay Hanson in the MPC AWC Racing Audi RS3 LMS TCR and lead HMO Customer Racing contender Josh Buchan promise to close the gap.

In what has been the strongest season yet for TCR in Australia, action is guaranteed at Sandown.

Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS has enjoyed many close battles this season, with the level of competition high as Mercedes and Audi duke it out for race or class honours.

Just eight-points separate reigning winner Yasser Shahin and Liam Talbot at the top of the standings, while Prince Jefri Ibrahim remains in touch sharing with New Zealand ace Shane van Gisbergen.

The classic muscle of Gulf Western Oil Touring Car Masters always proves spectacular especially at a circuit where the legendary nameplates such as Falcon GT, Torana A9X and SL/R 5000, Camaro and Mustang forged a formidable reputation.

John Bowe will be challenged by the likes of George Miedecke and Ryan Hansford, just as Cameron Tilley in the fan favourite Valiant Pacer will be after a dream result after a remarkable repair job since Townsville.

Last, but not least is the Turtle Wax Trans Am Series decider with Garry Rogers Motorsport teammates Nathan Herne and Owen Kelly battling it out for the title.

Newer muscle compared to Gulf Western Oil Touring Car Masters represented by Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger will be equally spectacular as a competitive field featuring Brett Holdsworth, Jett Johnson, Nash Morris and Ben Grice will be eager to interrupt the GRM title fight.

Add in the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge and Australian Production Cars brought to you by LIQUI MOLY, the weekend at Sandown will be an action-packed weekend.
