Supercheap Auto TCR Australia privateer Michael Clemente will feature support from another motor racing family.
Doria Brothers Transport is emblazoned on the side of Clemente’s family-run Honda Civic Type R TCR featuring a distinctive eagle paying homage to company director Mario.

The link up between the Clemente and Doria families was forged when both sons started karting, with Michael going up against Mario’s son John. Carrying on through the Victorian State Circuit Racing Championships in different classes, the two families continue to be close.
Clemente was excited to reveal his new supporter, especially with a close family link.
“It’s a family run business and we’ve been close since karting where I raced against John, who has raced in Formula Ford and Saloon Cars,” Clemente explained.
“John’s father Mario has come onboard to support us for this round, so it’s awesome to be partnering with my best mate and his family in my racing.
“I’m very appreciative of the Doria family.”
Clemente enters Sandown with confidence after a top 10 performance at Queensland Raceway and is eager to race at a circuit he has much experience at.
“We finished well last round and hopefully we can carry the momentum into our home track, there’s going to be so much support here!” Clemente said. “Hopefully, we can put on a show.
“We’re really hoping for a good result not just in the top 10, but even further as we saw the Hondas were quick last round and we want to be up the front with the other Civic Type R TCRs.”
In terms of continuing strong performances, Clemente believes this will aid as he garners support for his 2023 campaign.
“We’ve worked with a variety of companies this year and we’re really building a lot of momentum, so hopefully it sticks around for next season,” he concluded.
