Clemente Cupra breaks cover

Carl Cox Motorsport has unveiled a stunning livery on the CUPRA TCR car that Michael Clemente will debut in this weekend’s second round of the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series.

To coincide with the launch, and to support the many e-racers around the world who follow both TCR and Carl Cox Motorsport, the team also announced the launch of this livery on a Gen2 CUPRA TCR in Assetto Corsa, available for free for all fans.

The team is also excited to announce a renewal of their partnership with RYCO, who have been involved with the team for a number of years and continue to support the project with Mike and Carl as well as supplying RYCO products to both the Honda, Audi and moving forward, the CUPRA TCR.

Paul Moncur, General Manager – Product and Marketing, RYCO, said: “RYCO is proud to again be associated with Michael Clemente Motorsport and their participation within the 2023 TCR Australia championship.  For last year’s Bathurst International TCR event, RYCO had the pleasure of working closely with Michael Clemente, Team Principal David Burn, and the team to create a very striking, yet memorable livery.

“The arrival in Australia of the brand new CUPRA provides a fantastic opportunity to generate excitement for and awareness of the team and the RYCO brand as well as our leading range of automotive filtration products amongst followers of TCR.

“With the CUPRA , we know Michael, Dave, and the team are RYCO ready to take it to the next level.”

Carl Cox Motorsport is also pleased to announce the arrival of Eazy-Gleam as a new partner for the 2023 season.

Established in 1988, Eazy-Gleam is a family owned and operated business servicing the automotive and cleaning industry from their facility in Brisbane.  Eazy-Gleam stocks a full range of automotive products to suit all types of vehicles and interests and is proud to support local detailers and motoring enthusiasts.

And finally, to support the launch of the new livery, and given the amount of time Mike Clemente spends on a simulator, the team is happy to announce that they have partnered with Index Designs to create an identical, Assetto Corsa version of the Carl Cox Motorsport TCR CUPRA, using the original design files, available for download for free.

This will give fans the opportunity to drive the Carl Cox Motorsport CUPRA the same weekend as it makes its debut at Phillip Island.

The installation requirements can be found by heading to racedepartment.com and, using Content Manager, the skin can be installed.   This can be easily located by typing ‘Carl Cox CUPRA’ into the search bar as well.
