MACAU RACE WINNER LO SZE HO JOINS HMO CUSTOMER RACING IN AUSTRALIA
Hong Kong driver Lo Sze Ho will make his Australian racing debut in the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour round at Tailem Bend, completing a three-car line-up for HMO Customer Racing.
Lo, a long-time competitor in TCR throughout Asia, will drive the Hyundai i30 N Hatch last raced in the TCR Australia Series by Tom Oliphant and driven to race wins by Josh Buchan early in 2024.
The event at Tailem Bend will be Lo’s fourth round start in the TCR World Tour, following appearances in Macau’s Guia Touring Car Race in 2023 and 2024, and at the Zhuzhou circuit in China last year.
Lo is a race winner and multiple podium finisher on the streets of Macau, having won the TCR Asia Challenge in 2023 for his own team, Evolve Racing.
Since debuting in the China Touring Car Series in 2013, Lo has amassed a significant bank of experience competing in front-wheel-drive touring cars.
The HMO Customer Racing-prepared i30 N Hatch he will race in Australia is also a familiar machine, for Lo has represented the Hyundai brand in TCR since 2021.
The Kumho FIA TCR World Tour round at Tailem Bend commences next Friday, September 12.
