REVISED SCHEDULE FOR KUMHO FIA TCR WORLD TOUR AT THE BEND
Due to global shipping delays impacting the arrival of international freight into Australia, the schedule for this weekend’s Kumho FIA TCR World Tour round has been revised.
The event will move from a three-race format to two races of approximately 60km each, as run at the championship’s previous two rounds in Italy and Portugal.
With the international Kumho FIA TCR World Tour cars and equipment now set to arrive on circuit on Friday, practice has been consolidated to a single 30-minute session, to be held at 7:15am (ACST) on Saturday.
Qualifying will take place at 9:00am ACST on Saturday, with a 30-minute format (20 minutes for the full field in Q1, and 10 minutes for the top 12 in Q2) remaining unchanged from the original schedule.
The opening race of the weekend will take place at 2:15pm ACST on Saturday, with Race 2 scheduled for 12:00pm ACST on Sunday.
Qualifying and both races will be televised live in Australia on Fox Sports and Kayo.
