Alfa gets colours as GRM tests at Winton
Jimmy Vernon has revealed the first look of his brand-new Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloces at Winton Raceway today.
As part of an extra test session that Garry Rogers Motorsport is conducting today, Vernon is being joined by his two Renault Megane stablemates James Moffat and Chris Pither at the rural track.
Last night, GRM revealed the look of the new Meganes. CLICK HERE for more details.
Vernon’s Alfa Romeo has a largely white colour scheme, with some of the Italian company’s iconic red and green on the doors and roof.
The car features sponsorship from Vernon’s backer SRH Haulage and GRM’s long-time partners Valvoline.
This is Vernon’s second taste of the Alfa at Winton, having conducted a full day in the car last Monday during the official test.
The other Alfa Romeo entry, run by Ashley Seward Motorsport for Dylan O’Keeffe, elected not to test at Winton today.
Tomorrow, the four Kelly Racing entries (two Subaru WRXs and two Opel Astras) will head up to Winton for a final test before heading up the Hume Highway to compete in the historic opening round of TCR Australia at Sydney Motorsport Park.
