Kiwi driver and Greg Rust team up for fundraiser

Jack Milligan will host a fundraiser in Christchurch on the eve of his Australian racing debut in the carsales TCR Asia Pacific Cup drive at Albert Park.
To raise funds for his Australian TCR campaign, Milligan is holding a fundraiser, hosted by legendary commentator Greg Rust, to ensure he has the right level of support for the biggest TCR race of his life.
The fundraiser, to held at Hagley Windows & Doors in Christchurch thisWednesday, will have his Track Tec Audi RS 3 on display and racing simulators.
Milligan is excited by the opportunity to meet new people and enjoy a fun night with Rust.
“I’m really looking forward to a great night hosted by Hagley Windows & Doors in Christchurch for our big campaign this year with Track Tec Racing in the all new Audi RS3 TCR car,” said Milligan.
“Along with Greg Rust, I look forward to seeing everyone there.
“As everyone knows, a big part of motorsport is not only talent but funding as well.  Being the only kiwi driver confirmed, I will be giving it my absolute best shot and providing New Zealand with a great showing at the TCR Asia Pacific Cup at the Melbourne Grand Prix.”

Rust, the official voice of the TCR Australia Series, is happy to pleased to support Milligan’s cause.
“I’ve kept an eye on Jack’s racing for a little while, I know his Uncle Grant through some racing mates, so I wanted to come along and support his big mission,” he said.
“I think it’s great that a Kiwi team and driver is heading over the ditch to join the TCR Australia Series, hopefully it will encourage some of the Aussie teams to come over this side of the Tasman when the NZ TCR Championship kicks off later in the year.”
While fundraising is key to ensuring the Milligan makes the grid, he thanks his current supporters Hagley Windows & Doors, Miles Advisory Partners, Vantage Windows & Doors and Danny & Jackie Whiting.
Jack tested at Ruapuna Park in Christchurch on Friday, which marked his last time in the Audi before heading over to Australia for the Albert Park event.
