A technical insight of Jay Hanson’s new Audi RS3 LMS TCR
The latest addition to the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia grid debuted successfully at AWC Race Tasmania in the form of Jay Hanson’s latest specification Audi RS3 LMS TCR.
Hanson won in the model’s maiden appearance at Symmons Plains, despite Melbourne Performance Centre receiving it less than a week before the opening round.

A race winner already in the top-tier FIA WTCR, Audi’s latest challenger features a steering wheel control panel and keypad beside the driver to improve ergonomics, enhanced safety through the addition of a protection seat, six-point harness, roof hatch and pedal box.
Hanson’s number one mechanic Cliff Campbell shows off the key features on what is the only example currently in the southern hemisphere and the first to win a race in a domestic series.
The Supercheap Auto TCR Australia field will contest three 16-lap races at Phillip Island this weekend forming the opening event for the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships together with the S5000 Australian Drivers’ Championship, Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS and Turtle Wax Trans Am Series.
