All Three Sandown Races Live on 7mate, Schedule Revealed
The Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series’ three races at the season-opening Race Sandown from February 9-11 will be free-to-air on 7mate, with qualifying to be shown live and free on streaming platform 7plus.
Friday’s action sees TCR Australia hit the track for two important practice sessions, at 11:40am and 2:00pm local time. Both sessions will be 30 minutes long, giving teams and drivers an hour to dial in their cars before the competitive action gets underway on Saturday.
7plus coverage starts at 9:55am on Saturday, kicked off by Trans Am qualifying. TCR Australia’s two-part qualifying is next up at 10:30am, where in a refreshed format, the top six drivers will advance from the 15-minute opening session to Qualifying 2 and a chance at pole position.
Race one commences at 1:15pm, live on 7mate, and is scheduled for 21 laps or one lap after 1:43pm local time.
Sunday sees a compact schedule for TCR Australia, fitting both races in to the 7mate window with formation laps commencing at 2:05pm and 3:20pm for races two and three – both scheduled for 21 laps.
It marks the first time that all three TCR Australia races have been shown live on free-to-air TV since 2019 and comes amid a healthy increase in live coverage at the event. Full live broadcast times can be found below.
